Contribute
Emerald Coaching Guide welcomes thoughtful contributions about reflection, goals, habits, learning and personal transitions. Proposals should give readers a clear idea to consider, without promising a cure, guaranteed result or one-size-fits-all answer.
What makes a good pitch
Tell us the subject, the central question and why it matters to a general reader. A strong proposal has a distinct angle, a clear scope and a useful takeaway, such as a way to compare approaches or a prompt for reflection. Explain any relevant experience plainly; do not imply credentials or results you cannot substantiate.
A good fit for our pages
We look for original, carefully reasoned writing in a natural voice. Keep the focus on coaching and self-directed development, and distinguish personal perspective from factual claims. Avoid diagnosing readers, prescribing treatment, promising outcomes or presenting medical, legal or financial advice.
How to propose a piece
Send a concise proposal through the Contact page, choosing the editorial option and outlining your idea. Include a working title, a short summary and any relevant links to previously published writing if you wish. Please send a proposal rather than a finished article unless we have agreed otherwise; submission does not guarantee publication.
